By fostering a greater understanding of how we got where we are today, it may give us insight into where we are going. The history of our family is in large part the history of the United States. From landed gentry to backwoods pioneers, old lines and relatively recent immigrants our story is diverse and worth telling. On our site, you will find research about several family lines that were in what is now the United States prior to the American Revolution, among others. Some go back in Virginia or other states to the 17th and 18th Centuries.

Older surnames of interest currently include: Gray, Jessee, Browning, Kimbrough, Stultz, Dulaney, Lee, Thatcher, and Stephenson.

More recent families (19th Century) include: Muck, Kehr, McCormick, and Sander.
